Armstrong Mbi Obale is a Research Analyst I at the Hubert-Yeargan Center for Global Health. He completed the Master of Science in Global health degree at Duke University. Prior to his degree at Duke, he earned a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology and Control of Infectious Disease and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Buea, Cameroon.
Obale has a strong interest in contributing to better health for all through the application of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Epidemiologic methods in different areas, including Infectious Diseases, Injuries, and Emergency Medicine. He, over a period of 3 years, volunteered as Field Coordinator in a Nurse-Led Rural Diabetes Management project in Cameroon. Obale is always willing to go an extra mile making sure things are properly done. He holds on to honesty and integrity as core values. During his free time, he either listens to music, plays the piano, or watches movies.
