Summary

Dr. Cheryl Baker had a long standing relationship with the Faculty School of Medical Sciences at UNAN-Leon located in Leon, Nicaragua when she approached the Hubert-Yeargan Center in 2007 about formalizing a collaboration between our two institutions.  The partnership continues to this day, resulting in several research projects and bidirectional training opportunities for medical students, residents, fellows and faculty.
