Summary
Dr. Jack Dougherty is currently a global health fellow in Duke’s Infectious Diseases program. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and completed his internal medicine residency at New York University. During residency, he traveled to Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey for a Chief Medical Resident Rotation. After residency, Dr. Dougherty served as a hospitalist in Alaska and Guam. He then practiced as a primary care physician in Los Angeles before coming to Duke for his Infectious Diseases fellowship in 2020. Dr. Dougherty has volunteered with the Syrian American Medical Society. He is enrolled in the Duke Master of Science in Global Health Program. His interests include global health clinical trials, data science and humanitarian intervention.
