Dr. Neelima Navuluri, GHP graduate and current Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Duke Division of Pulmonology and Critical Care, received DGHI Pilot grant funding for her project, Impact of Air Pollution on Post-Tuberculosis Lung Disease. These pilot funds help to support interdisciplinary collaborations in global health research.
Dr. Navuluri is also the recipient of the highly competitive Parker B. Francis Fellowship to support her work on post-tuberculosis lung disease. This fellowship provides three years of funding to clinical and basic scientists conducting research in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
