Rebekah Boyd is a global health resident in the Integrated Thoracic Surgery Residency program. She earned her medical degree at Columbia University, Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is enrolled in Duke Divinity School Masters of Theological Studies with a focus on Theology and Ethics.

Her global health work spans multiple sites including Guyana, Honduras, Ghana, Kenya and Gaza. She future intended career is in academic and clinical global pediatric cardia surgery and ethics.
