Dr. Susanna Naggie Named Director of Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute

Congratulations to Dr. Susanna Naggie for being named Director of the Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Dr. Naggie is a physician-scientist whose career has focused on HIV and viral hepatitis.  Prior to her infectious disease fellowship at Duke, she participated in the HYC global health elective rotation to Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre during residency. Since joining Duke faculty, she’s assumed many roles including Associate Dean for Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs, Medical Director of the Clinical Research Unit in the Department of Medicine, and Infectious Diseases Section Director at DCRI. She is Co-Director of the Duke Center for AIDS Research and a staff physician in infectious diseases at the Durham VA.
